Industrial Environmental Management Knowledge Network

Over the past thirteen years, the PBE has been helping local industries to become aware of their impact on the environment and their responsibility for protecting the resources on which their own survival depends. PBE has done so by providing business with environment-related information; acting as intermediary between the private sector, business and community; networking opportunities and linkages.

  • environmental information
  • environmental technologies
  • environmental events
  • resources to assist companies in the effort to adopt environmental management
  • repository of information on available technology suppliers and other service providers

The IEM Knowledge Network is managed by the Philippine Business for the Environment (PBE) and was established with assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) through the Environmental Management with Public and Private Sector Ownership (EMPOWER) Project. It is currently being hosted by the Development Bank of the Philippines. For further information, visit the www.iem.net.ph.
